Our shared goal is to become seen as human beings, worthy of empathy and equality. The current political adversity is fueled by the fact that most Americans do not know trans+ people as such, and this event aims to bridge that cultural gap with openness and honesty.
Suggested age range: Adults and students 11 years old and up! Stories may include content related to medical content, alcohol use, bullying, mental health, and diagnosis.
Feel free to email us at storytelling@603equality.org if you have questions or specific accessibility needs.

STAND UP AGAINST DISCRIMINATION Visibility
In New Hampshire, we’re experiencing repeated attacks against bodily autonomy, safety, and identity. Legislators are repeatedly drafting discriminatory policies that have real-world consequences for the lives of Granite Staters. On Friday, February 20th, we have an astounding 4 new proposed bathroom bills, and an alarming proposed piece of legislation that seeks to strike the phrase “gender identity” from state statutes—opening doors for further discrimination and weakening protections for people throughout the state.
Back Off Our Bodily Autonomy
In New Hampshire, our bodily autonomy, private health decisions, and access to health care are still under attack, despite how overwhelmingly unpopular bans and restrictions are amongst Granite Staters.
That’s why we’ll be rallying outside the New Hampshire State House on Thursday, February 19th from 9 AM to 10:30 AM to remind NH state lawmakers to protect our healthcare and to back off our bodily autonomy.
No Hate in Our State! Visibility + Testifying against anti-trans legislation
Join us on Wednesday, February 11th, to tell our senators: No Hate in the Granite State! 603 Equality, NH Outright, ACLU NH, and others, will be supporting community members as we fight back against discriminatory anti-transgender legislation.
MLK , Jr. Community Celebration
We will be joining with many other community organizations to honor the birth of Martin Luther King, Jr. The gathering will honor MLK’s legacy with the presentation of an important award, speeches and a choral concert. Come join us!
LGBTQ+ Rights in NH: Where We Are and What to Know
Join ACLU-NH, GLAD Law, 603 Equality, and NH Outright on Thursday, January 8th at 7pm to explore the current status of LGBTQ+ Rights in NH, challenges to these rights ahead of the 2026 Legislative Session, and ways to take action!
Second Day of 2026 Legislative Session
Join the Kent Street Coalition and 603 Equality to be present for a visibility at the NH State House, as the 2026 Legislative Session begins.
In particular we are encouraging the returning lawmakers to vote against retained bills SB268, a bathroom bill, SB211 against trans athletes in higher education, and SB33 a school censorship bill. See https://603equality.org/current-actions for bill information.
Stay tuned for event details!
